Job description
An AI Developer in India is responsible for designing, building, and deploying artificial intelligence models and applications to solve complex business problems. The role has evolved significantly with the rise of Generative AI, requiring expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) alongside traditional machine learning.
Core Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design and implement machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models for tasks like Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, and predictive analytics.
- Generative AI Integration: Build and optimize agentic systems using LLM frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Data Pipeline Management: Clean and preprocess large datasets, and build data transformation pipelines using SQL and Pandas.
- Deployment & MLOps: Deploy models into production environments using cloud platforms and monitor them for performance drift.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to align AI solutions with organizational goals.
Required Technical Skills
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (primary), Java, or C++.
- AI/ML Frameworks: Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and Scikit-Learn.
- GenAI & LLMs: Familiarity with RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable AI infrastructure.
- Mathematics: Solid understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related engineering field.
- Certifications: Credentials from platforms like Coursera or edX, or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional ML Engineer), are highly valued.
