Job Description

Role Overview
A WordPress developer manages the full-stack architecture of WordPress-based websites, balancing custom front-end user experiences with back-end server and database integrity.

Key Responsibilities
• Theme & Plugin Development: Build custom themes from scratch or modify existing ones; develop, test, and maintain custom plugins.
• Front-End Development: Convert UI/UX design files (like Figma or Adobe XD) into responsive, mobile-friendly web pages using HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript.
• Back-End & Database Management: Write PHP scripts, interact with MySQL databases, and handle server integrations or RESTful APIs.
• Performance & SEO Optimization: Improve site loading speeds, core web vitals, and technical SEO elements.
• Security & Maintenance: Perform regular core, theme, and plugin updates, security hardening, backups, and bug troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Languages: PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SQL.
• Platform Knowledge: Deep familiarity with WordPress core mechanics, WooCommerce, page builders, and REST APIs.
• Tools & Workflow: Version control systems like Git/SVN, browser debugging tools, and local development environments.
• Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or 2 to 5 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
