Job description
We are working on software to take documents from construction packages and creating bids for contracts.
We use python on the backend and Vue JS on the frontend. Two of the programmers worked for the Linux Foundation, so it's very tech-savvy. You'll be able to use Claude Code, so programming minutiae is not important, but understanding systems is. Good Vue JS can now be written by AI, so python is by far the more important skill.
It's a startup, so it's very risky for you and for us. Your contribution can make or break this company.
An important portion is taking information from blueprints, pdf's, and converting them to dxf and extracting information and saving it, and then processing it.
