Company:Qualcomm India Private Limited Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary As a platform SW Architect, Need to support life cycle of a product - SoC definition till commercialization bridging the SW requirements mapped to SoC design . Define SW architecture for overall SoC. Capable to take up complex SW features (that are spread across multiple sub-systems) and propose a design in collaboration with several SW development teams. Be the HW face to the SW dev teams and help be a bridge across the SoC and SW Dev teams. Willingness to focus on one or more selected specialized platform architecture domains like Boot, Debug, Peripherals, Memory Controller, QoS, Buses etc. Work closely with HW design & product teams to drive HW design adhering to defined SW architecture. Need to be a great listener to understand requirements, problem statements, HW design details etc. Skills/experience: SoC platform knowledge (Memory Controller, QoS, Buses, Peripherals, Boot, Debug, etc.) Hands on experience and/or sound knowledge on AR/VR products, use cases, HW & SW work partitioning, end to end work flows (HW & SW), power & performance challenges SoC Power & Performance management knowledge Good SoC security knowledge Good exposure to overall SoC embedded SW (ARM v7/v8/v9 CPU knowledge is additional bonus) Experience in designing complex embedded System SW features Education Minimum Qualifications Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems Work Experiences 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience Skills Certifications: Education Preferred Qualifications Work Experiences 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above). ,3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. ,3+ years experience with API. ,3+ years experience with Database Management Software. ,8+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
