Company:Qualcomm India Private Limited Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems Engineering General Summary Responsibilities of this role include Software requirements, use cases and architecture definition for driving requirement to commercialization of the key Wi-Fi access point products Technical owner of system level characterization and drive the evolution of the product improvements and specifications. Technology and commercialization interface with product management and engineering teams to drive improvements and evolution of the solutions. 6-10 yrs in SW Engineering life cycle or related work experience Minimum 6-8 yrs in SW engineering roles that covers SW design, architecture, development and test. Strong technology focus and experience in networking technology areas that include WLAN, Ethernet, Bridging and Routing. Good understanding of requirements for products and features, Strong understanding SW architecture and real time embedded system design with Linux Operating System Strong programming skills and experience in Linux based embedded SW programming Decisive and ability to quickly identify problems & make decisions to solve them. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Desirable Working with cross geo teams in US and China Working on various characterization techniques for performance, CPU and system resources utilization Customer interactions and Product Marketing interfacing experience Strong theoretical understanding of software architectures in networking, WLAN, data path functions.
