Qualcomm is looking to hire a QA resource with strong technical knowledge on USB Specification and Python Perl scripting to automate USB validation. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing the product features, creating test strategy, test planning, KPI measurement, and implementing quality checks for the USB Tech area

Quality is an integral aspect of Qualcomm deliverables . So, you will be part of a dynamic crew to run a series of tests through all production stages to identify potential malfunctions and recommend improvements upon troubleshooting the issues. Ultimately, you’ll ensure QUALCOMM products meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities
< u>< strong>
  • Create test strategy, detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases based on high-level feature requirements. < li>
  • Develop Enhance Tools, improve the processes for Quality deliverables and reduce Manual efforts < li>
  • Participate in the review and provide feedback on product feature requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. < li>
  • Work in close collaboration with Dev CE teams to understand new features, customer requirements and customer issues. < li>
  • Preparing test reports to management and improving the test coverage based on Dev CE team review meeting inputs. < li>
  • Work closely with various teams located across the globe to debug the issues and understand the requirements.

    < li> < ul> Requirements
    < u>< strong>
    • Proficiency in programming skills (Python Perl, C or C++) < li>
    • Experience in System SW (bootloader, Board Support Package (BSP), HLOS) and low-level firmware Validation. < li>
    • Excellent exposure to Embedded systems & Real-Time Operating systems concepts < li>
    • Good understanding of USB2 and USB3 specifications provided by USB-IF org < li>
    • Experience in USB functional, Performance, and stability testing < li>
    • Knowledge of Electrical and protocol compliance testing is an advantage < li>
    • Should have exposer testing in Linux environment. < li>
    • Good debugging skills. Able to understand various kinds of debug logs and troubleshoot the issue. < li>
    • Should be an excellent teammate with a passion for new trends technology. < li>
    • Experience in using Configuration Management tools (Git, Perforce, Code Collab) and scrum tools (JIRA, Orbit). < li>
    • Excellent data analysis skills and demonstrated ability in solving complex issues involving multiple software or hardware components. < li>
    • Good Problem solving & analysis skills; Good communication, and enthusiasm to learn. < li>
    • Ability to learn and work together in a team. Must be a Team player < li>
    • Strong exposure to working in mobile Windows test environments
