GENERAL SUMMARY Provide hardware design support to customers developing wireless products. .Research and answer a wide range of in-depth technical questions related to integration of QCT chipsets. .Perform block diagram, schematic, placement and PCB design reviews on customer products. .Resolve technical problems via hands-on trouble shooting. .Aid customers to implement new technology using Qualcomm chipsets. .Provide upfront support to the business teams for new projects. Create customer facing documentation related to Qualcomms portfolio of RF products. .Understanding of RF systems and familiarity with cellular standards. .Ability to conduct GSM/C2K/TDSCDMA/WCDMA/LTE/5G SUB6/5G mmW test Minimum Qualifications .Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. . 3+ years of work experience in Relevant Field. Preferred Qualifications .Understanding in RF component characteristics and behavior. .Problem solving and analytical skill. .Familiar with PCB CAD tools such as Allegro and PADS. .Digital circuit design, software programming, or power management is a plus. Job function: BB HW CE for MBB applications. Individual will contribute to the dynamic Customer engineering team for end product designs. Individual will be responsible for supporting Qualcomm's growing portfolio of platforms/applications and the job involves working closely with internal partners in definition of product as appropriate. Work closely with Qualcomm customers to support HW design signoffs, system/SoC debug, deliverables etc Skills/experience: Embedded systems hardware design preferably ARM based, board bring up, Silicon bench tests/ Characterization, measurements AC/DC parameters, SOC interface parametric measurements integrated functional tests. Knowledge in High Speed Digital interfaces such as: Memory Bus I/F (UFS, eMMC, LPDDRx), USB, MIPI CSI/DSI etc. Hands on experience in working with Oscilloscopes, Logic A Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems Work Experiences: 2+ years Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience. Certifications: Skills: Allegro Layout Preferred Qualifications Education: Work Experiences: 1+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. ,1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with leadership. ,4+ years Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
