GENERAL SUMMARY Qualcomm Mobile System Performance team (SPT) of systems engineers are driving analysis and defining next-generation architectures for our system-on-chip (SoC) products for the smartphone, tablet, automotive and other product categories. Responsibility: . Mobile ASIC verification across PVT (process, voltage, temp) . Analyze power and performance across various workloads (CPU, GPU, AI, Machine learning, etc) . Able to work with HW Design/SW and other validation teams to optimize / commercialize new HW/SW power features . Good knowledge of HW/ASIC and functional validation . Able to debug stability issues on Android OS (root cause analysis for failures) . Isolate failures to be SW or HW related . Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, power and voltage stability for ASICs . Execute voltage characterization procedures for ASIC verification . Develop and maintain automation framework using Python, C++ and Perl . Drive voltage characterization of mobile chipsets . Able to analyze SoC voltage and clock waveforms (using oscilloscope, etc) . Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems Work Experiences: 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience. Certifications: Skills: Preferred Qualifications Education: Work Experiences: 2+ years experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc. ,2+ years experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software. ,2+ years experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF). ,4+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
