This is the Invention Age - and this is where you come in. GENERAL SUMMARY Role: The BDC Post Silicon Engineering group has an opening for a RF Product Engineer. This group is involved in developing Test solutions and Characterization of highly integrated RF Receivers/Transmitters/Transceivers, Power management, Analog & Mixed signal ASICs designed by Qualcomm. The group works with Design, System, Program Management, Yield, Reliability and Manufacturing teams to create and commercialize Qualcomm's products. Job responsibilities for this position include Device Debug and Characterization, Data analysis, Process experiment (DOE) definition, multiple-source fab matching, product documentation/presentation, driving failure analysis to completion and yield variance control. The job scope also requires the Engineer to drive short term and long-term test time reduction and yield improvement to meet set goals without compromising production quality. Skills/Experience: 1. Solid understanding of Electronics engineering fundamentals, Semiconductor manufacturing process, RF & Mixed-signal circuit analysis techniques. 2. Strong knowledge of RF measurement techniques such as Noise Figure, Linearity & Phase Noise 3. Good RF and Mixed Signal Bench characterization skills. System level knowledge is a plus. 4. Able to work comfortably with lab equipment like Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer & Signal Generator 5. Hands on Knowledge with RF & Mixed-signal PCB bring up and debug. 6. Able to work independently with initiative through challenges, Technical or otherwise. 7. Able to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and global teams. 8. Knowledge and hands on experience with statistical analysis software package and techniques, quality and reliability testing and Wafer fabrication fundamentals are a plus. 9. Good software skills for writing and debugging Test code (LabVIEW, Python, etc.) is a plus. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems Work Experiences: 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
